Abbey Brass
Abbey Brass is the newest brass band on the Isle of Wight. Formed in 2021, the band gives a regular series of concerts across the island. To keep up to date with our activities then head over to our News section to find out more.
Procession to the Minster.
Abbey Brass will be giving their first concert at Newport's Minster on Saturday 10th May starting at 7.30pm. The programme has music from a number of different genres and will also feature the band's star soloists.
Christmas.... at last!
Abbey Brass finished off 2024 with three full-house Christmas concerts in Newport, Wootton and Binstead. Audiences were entertained with Carols, Christmas songs and also got involved with some hearty singing.
World premiere for Abbey
Abbey Brass gave their first concert in Gurnard on Saturday 2nd November at All Saints Church, Tuttons Hill. The audience were treated to a varied programme of classical, pop and orginal brass band music.

Meet The Band
Abbey Brass players travel across the island to rehearse at the band's base in Binstead, Ryde on Wednesday evenings.
The band is made up of people from all walks of life including those in the medical profession, care workers, teachers, administrators, structural engineers, transport operatives and one or two retirees.
